You have been where I was today…..sitting at the computer and all of a sudden the sun bursts through the clouds and hits you in the eye. Beautiful! Because I can – I did. A spontaneous picnic. I keep a basket with a blanket and binoculars at the ready and happened to have some left over cheese and crackers from all the parties recently. Some fruit and a cup of tea and I was on the path. Two minutes later I am on the edge of the ocean studying the fishing practices of the Common Merganser. Nothing common about a spontaneous picnic in the sunshine in January – bliss!

Wow, very nice. A true example of seizing the moment. Well done! And 2 minutes from the ocean you say> Jealous!
Ah, you are so good at celebrating the uncommon – a picnic in January indeed!
Oh how I would love that.
I’m just one province over! Low fares on westjet and AC. Travel within Canada for a bit of green and blooming flowers
How lovely, and so good you took advantage of the moment! Too often we look up then put our heads back down. Love the sneakers — so you!
